Chasah and Charliese enjoy crafting feature-length screenplays, Broadway-style musicals, and family-friendly short films. Their work mostly features main characters of color in action-adventure, sci-fi, or fantasy narratives. They also enjoy weaving South Louisiana culture in their works. Louisiana Creole culture inspired their award-winning short film Héritage, a story about a young girl who learns to connect with her Creole lineage, and is highlighted in their current project Swell, which they will be working on during their residency in the Woods. Swell is an in-the-works stage musical set in a fictional Louisiana town on the verge of coastal flooding.
