Sheleen Jones is a visual artist from New Orleans. Her journey as an artist began at Xavier University, where Sheleen found immense gratification in her pursuits. Encouraged by this experience, she chose to further her education with graduate studies at Florida State University. These decisions have enabled her to nurture young artists at the primary, secondary, and college levels while also allowing her career in the public to flourish. Her artwork speaks to knowing and self-awareness.
