We are pleased to announce a new collaboration between A Studio in the Woods and Dillard University’s Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Center. Inspiring Health Justice: A Collaborative Art-Science Scholar-in-Residence Program will engage Dr. Sacoby Wilson, (Associate Professor, Applied Environmental Health and the UMD Prevention Research Center at the University of Maryland, College Park) to work remotely with Dillard faculty members John Barnes (Associate Professor of Visual Arts, Dillard University) and Keith Morris (Associate Professor of Film, Dillard University), and four Dillard independent study students over the course of the Spring 2021 semester to create film and art works about COVID-19 and health disparities in our region.
