Haley Peele, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist in San Francisco, California. She conducts developmental assessments in public and private settings to help provide families with diagnostic information and therapeutic support that will help their children develop to their fullest potential. She also provides integrated family therapy to address early disruptions in attachment between children and their caregivers. Haley co-leads research to better understand and support the physical and emotional well-being of Black mothers and families as they interact with systems and institutions that are often hostile to them. She works to transform research methodology to include the individuals who are the focus of the research in every phase of the research process as co-leaders and investigators. Prior to becoming a psychologist, Haley worked for more than 10 years in university administration.
“What I will remember most about my time at ASITW is the beautiful home and grounds as well as Lucianne’s gorgeous pottery.” – Haley Peele
