Daniel is a philosopher working at the intersection of philosophy of mind and the mind sciences.  In particular, he is interested in decision-making.  Decision is both an intuitive everyday concept and a complex brain function.  He is writing a book integrating philosophical and neuroscientific perspectives on decision.
