Angel Chung Cutno, a fifth generation Louisianan, grew up in an Afro-Asian home. As a young person, she rarely saw faces like hers in media, art, or even her own family. Today, she inputs her own likeness into her art to be a representation for people like her. During her time in The Woods, Angel will use beads, bones, bronze, found materials and sounds to create art that embodies her experiences as an Afro-Asian woman who communes with Mama Nature.
