Learn with former resident Shay Nichols how singing in nature can deepen our connection with the natural world and each other. Discover the process of rewilding your voice, allowing natural music to emerge.

Listening deeply to the forest, Shay invites participants to play with the building blocks of music found in nature, using tones, textures, and rhythmic patterns to create soundscapes. Participants will explore simple musical exercises such as sonic niche and mycelial tapestry that can be used in your own park or backyard.

This kind of wild singing opens pathways of connection and perception and is a way of practicing being in harmony with the earth.

The workshop is free, but space is limited and registration is requiredYou are welcome to bring a bag of lunch and join workshop participants for lunch. Studio will provide beverages and popsicles!
