Team up with musician and former National Park Service Naturalist Bruce Sunpie Barnes to explore the mushrooms and fungi native to southern Louisiana’s bottomland hardwood forests. Bruce will not only teach how to identify specific species but will share mushroom lore, including mystic and medicinal properties, on Friday, March 8th, 10am – 12pm. You are welcome to bring your lunch for a shared meal afterward – sweets and beverages will be provided.
