Liz Camuti, PLAASLA, is an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture at Tulane University. Her work focuses on design for climate adaptation, with an emphasis on reimagining working and industrialized landscapes in the Gulf Coast region as sites of socio-ecological cohabitation. During her residency at A Studio in the Woods, Liz will document and reflect on the outcomes of her Fall 2024 Advanced Digital Media course focused on visualizing forms of environmental data and create hybrid, site-specific drawings depicting the performance of climate-adaptive material prototypes developed through a related interdisciplinary research and fabrication project.
