Haley Peele, M.A., M.S. is a doctoral student in school psychology at Tulane University. Her research interests include social justice oriented, strengths based interventions to disrupt the disproportionate discipline and incarceration of Black individuals and improve familial relationships. She recently helped to spearhead a project seeking to co-construct actionable definitions of professionalism at the doctoral training level, in part, to prevent minority students from being targeted as “unprofessional” based on cultural or physical qualities. Previously, Haley worked for more than 10 years in university administration at Columbia Law School, and NYU’s School of Law Department of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies.
“What I will remember most about my time at ASITW is the beautiful home and grounds as well as Lucianne’s gorgeous pottery.” – Haley Peele
